6 meter band always surprises me. After terrible lightning and heavy rains earlier today,the storm moves on and presto! The magic band opens up and we are talking all over the midwest from Iowa down to New orleans and Mexico from this grid DN09. Signals were very strong and stable for over 2 hours. The MUF was high enough for contacts from ve6 to calif. and colo to ve7 on 2 meters as well. Another interesting evening on 6 meters.The picture is of my 2 nd 6 meter antena a 9 el m2 at VE7BEE pointed at Japan.
